An old school DJ evolved from the era of turntables to today’s digital formats, deepnotiQ’s sets are an eclectic multi-genre blend with a strong influence from the melodic sounds of Deep House, Melodic House & Progressive House. He sets about taking the audience through an aural journey - starting with the gentler atmospheric sounds of Ambient & Downtempo to establish the soundscape while navigating the listener through the euphoric paces of Deep House, Progressive & Melodic House, all the while weaving the emotions through the deeper & darker sounds of Dub Techno & Techno.

 

deepnotiQ is an ardent supporter of the local electronic music scene, facilitating several events & concepts on the BackBeat platform to showcase other local DJs & producers. He has performed at several notable events & venues around the Washington D.C. metro including Flash, Twelve After Twelve, Lima Twist, Aliceanna Social Club, Gramophone, Clarendon Ballroom, Transit & Musicbox. These days you can catch him with the BackBeat crew at Ivy by the Lake  in Sterling, VA for the Wed KARMA events.
